  • 6th  March    2008 --  5.4L 3 Valve 220  P,D. Supercharger package.

Generation II 5.4L Boss 260/290 Blower Kit.

Confidently the best designed kit in Australia as BPT releases its second generation supercharger kit for the Falcon BA - BF 5.4L V8.

The new M122 derives from the new 2007 Shelby Cobra GT500 which originally sits between the valley of the US Built 5.4LV8. Unfortunately the head port configuration of the new GT500 is somewhat different from the Aussie 4 valve head so using the 5.4 GT500 manifold was blown out of the water. Instead we have utilized an adapter plate and mounted the M122 head unit on our existing designed manifold currently used with the M112 kit.

The Eaton M122 flows 10 cui more air than the M112 that was used on the '03-'04 "Terminator" Cobras and BPT M112 blower kits. Other new features of the M122 upgrade include a larger intercooler core with 15% more cross sectional area for heat exchange to take place. Boost level is maintained at a steady 8 PSI across the board and power output from this system is a comfortable 370 to 400 rear wheel kilowatts from the Boss 260/290.

The bonus about this new setup from BPT is the passenger side inlet entry into the Blower, Larger twin 60mm bore throttle body and the ability to optionally fit a choice of 4 supercharger units. (Kenne Bell - Whipple - Roush - Eaton).

  • Under drive Pulleys.

"After fitting the reduction pulleys to Both cars, we were stunned at the result.  We know the yanks have been using these for years on their Mustangs and now we know why - they work!  The pulleys yielded a 10kW (13 hp) at the wheels in both cars.  Not only that, both cars had noticeably improved throttle response - now that's value for money.
